Miss Murder and my insecurities

Hi everyone! Random chat moment Have been working on some new chapters of fan fiction and stuff, and feeling guilty because it's not to do with my 3rd year Dissertation... I always sabotage myself. I don't mean to, it just seems to happen.

Have been doing a lot of getting to know my kitty Miss Murder. She's a funny thing, but she's my little angel too. She gets these big bursts of energy where she'll jump on everything, whether it's the chairs, her toys, us, anything. She pounced on the wall the other day. You know those really really annoying times when you're trying to work and that wall just won't stop moving?! Yesterday she jumped on my side, at the ticklish point where your legs join your body, and then pounced full-force, claws-out, onto my bottom. That shocked more than hurt. Everyone else found it funny.

Also, have been apprehensive about university right now. Due to a technical thing I've lost access to my univeristy email account, and haven't be able to check anything since before my holiday. So crucial things like just knowing my results, links I need to re-enroll and reading lists, I have not got. I really hope I don't have to re-sit any assignments. I shouldn't have to. But if I do, I don't know about them yet until I can get it fixed. Am terrified I should be doing something I'm not.   
Right now the mere thought that it's going to be my last year of actually knowing what I'm doing is making me sick to my stomach. Upto this point I've always known where I'm headed; junior school, high school, A Level, university. And not having that security of knowing is driving me to the point of insanity. Which is why I currently also seem to be going through part of an art-block. My mind is too busy worrying.

P.S. I bought a tin of fruit jellies yesterday just to get the tin. It is really pretty though. It's got a jungle scene on it full of exotic wild animals, and it's really colourful. And on the underside it says "These are our friends and we should look after them." How sweet is that? Once I finish I shall keep this tin, and then maybe when I have kids I can pass it down to them to keep their knik-knaks in
