The Corpse Bride

Forget me nots and blue butterflies.  If they didn't name their first child Emilio or Emily after the person who helped ensure they could be happy together, arranged marriage or not, I would be surprised.  Like with the Fault in our Stars, Corpse Bride's timeline is accelerated over a short period, leaving a lot of people to question character development and evolution over the course of the narrative.  But come on, a lot can change after you've been accidentally betrothed to a corpse in the course of one night.
